- After more than two decades passed since KI no Natsui had gone, SUGAWARA no Michizane was appointed Governor of Sanuki Province where its peasants remembered Natsui's good politics, and Michizane is said to have faced difficulties in running government affairs due to the people who wanted to contrast Michizane with Natsui in every aspect.

- Moreover, though the time was uncertain, but there was an anecdote recording in Tona's 'Seiasho' that, Tameie accompanied Tamenori in serving in the renga-kai (linked verse contest) held in Yoshida Izumi-dono Pavilion of Saion-ji Temple second residence, the sound of a waterfall was bothering that Tamenori used his wit to close the waterfall.

- It is recorded that Nao DEGUCHI was temporarily taken care of by a regional church of the Konkokyo sect which was also Shinto, and she engaged in activities under their name for some time, since establishment of religious corporations was strictly monitored and limited by the administrative authorities at that time.

- The 'Incident of the Tengu (long-nosed goblin) entering Higashi Sanjo-dono Palace,' the fourth volume of the 'Kasuga-gongen-kie' (Scroll of the Story of the Kasuga Gongen Shrine) written in 1309, includes a story in which Tengu Hoshi, who had sneaked into the Higashi Sanjo-dono Palace of FUJIWARA no Tadazane who was Kanpaku (chief adviser to the Emperor), was wiped out by the power of Tsunofuri-myojin, and the end of the story includes the following description:

- However, 'Konjyaku Monogatari Shu' vol.29 'This land with evil' (本朝付悪業), the episode fifth titled 'The story of Ason (second highest of the eight hereditary titles) TAIRA no Sadamori, who shot a robber at the house of a Buddhist priest' introduces his heroic exploit against a robber at the house of a Buddhist priest of his acquaintance, where he stayed on his way back to the capital from Mutsu Province.

- In Japanese mythology the tree is associated with several gods and is thought to be the one to which gods descend, as shown in the stories of 'Kojiki' about Kiji no nakime, who was sent to Amenowakahiko by Amaterasu Omikami, and Yamasachihiko, who lost his elder brother's fishhook and ended up at the palace of the ocean god.

- In the Chushingura, there is a story that tells of a meeting between Kuranosuke and the real Gorobe KAKIMI in which 'Gorobe recognized that Kuranosuke and troupe were the Ako Roshi (masterless samurai of Ako domain) who had tried to attack Kozukenosuke KIRA whereupon Kuranosuke apologized for being an impostor', but, of course, this fiction.

- Messengers of the emperor or the retired emperor who visited Edo stayed at the bakufu's special residence for imperial messengers, where Kyooyaku entertained them, presented expensive gifts to them, improved the interior of the places where they visited and kept their company.

- There is an anecdote that Tsugunobu's wife and Tadanobu's wife wore their husbands' armors respectively disguised as their bravery in order to show and console their old mother (Otowa Gozen) who moaned at losing her two sons, and this anecdote was published in the government-designated textbook as an educational material for girls and women until the early Showa period.

- 'Nihon Eitaigura' (Inoru shirushi no kami no oshiki) by Saikaku IHARA is a tale of a man who enshrined the disliked Binbo-gami, who was extremely moved, appearing by the master's bedside on the night of the seven herbs saying 'This is the first time I ate sitting at a table,' and as a sign of gratitude, made the man wealthy.

- Services which dispatch sign language interpreters, etc. (means to mediate the following persons with disabilities, or others and other persons with a sign language or other means prescribed in Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) for such persons with disabilities, or others having difficulties communicating due to disabilities of auditory sense, language functions, phonetic functions or other disabilities or persons with disabilities, or others who have other problems that interfere with the enjoyment of daily life; and provide or lend tools to afford benefit in daily life which is specified by Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare; or provide other benefit prescribed in Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
- 事業者は、林業架線作業(機械集材装置若しくは運材索道の組立て、解体、変更若しくは修理の作業又はこれらの設備による集材若しくは運材の作業をいう。以下同じ。)を行なうときは、機械集材装置又は運材索道の運転者と荷かけ又は荷はずしをする者との間の連絡を確実にするため、電話、電鈴等の装置を設け、又は一定の合図を定め、それぞれ当該装置を使用する者を指名してその者に使用させ、又は当該合図を行なう者を指名してその者に行なわせなければならない。
- The employer shall, when carrying out a forestry cableway work (meaning the work constructing, dismantling, altering or repairing a skyline logging cable crane or a logging cableway, or yarding or log conveying by the said devices; the same shall apply hereinafter), provide devices of a telephone, an electric bell, etc., designate persons who use each said device and have the said persons use them, or set fixed signals, designate a person who gives the signals and have the said person give the signals, in order to ensure the communications between the operator of the crane or cableway and the worker hitching cargoes.

- この法律において「特定施設」とは、有料老人ホームその他厚生労働省令で定める施設であって、第十九項に規定する地域密着型特定施設でないものをいい、「特定施設入居者生活介護」とは、特定施設に入居している要介護者について、当該特定施設が提供するサービスの内容、これを担当する者その他厚生労働省令で定める事項を定めた計画に基づき行われる入浴、排せつ、食事等の介護その他の日常生活上の世話であって厚生労働省令で定めるもの、機能訓練及び療養上の世話をいう。
- The term "Specified Facility" as used in this Act means a Fee-Based Home for the Elderly or other facility as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare that is not a Community-Based Specified Facility as provided in this Article, paragraph (19) of this Act. The term "Daily Life Long-Term Care Admitted to a Specified Facility" as used in this Act means care for bathing, bodily waste elimination, meals, etc., and other care for performing daily activities that is as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, functional training, and medical care. Said care is provided to a Person Requiring Long-Term Care who is staying in a Specified Facility and is based on a plan which stipulates the content of services to be provided by said Specified Facility, the personnel in charge of the services, and other items as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.

- There are two well-known stories concerning subsequent events: one is that Doman then became Seimei's student as had been agreed, while the other is that while Seimei was away visiting China as a member of Kentoshi and training under the guidance of 伯道上人, Doman and Seimei's wife began to have an affair and, upon Seimei's return, using a magic he had mastered by sneaking a look at a book that 伯道上人 had given to Seimei, Doman won a duel to the death with Seimei, which prompted 伯道上人to come to Japan as his instincts alerted him to Seimei's death, whereupon he resuscitated Seimei and decapitated Doman; some time later, Seimei wrote some books that were subsequently compiled into 'Kinugyokutoshu'.

- With regard to those engineers of a train, diesel railcar, electric railcar, automobile, ship or aircraft, drivers, pilots, conductors, train masters, baggagemen, trainmen, stewards, air conditioning engineers and power supply officers (hereinafter referred to as "crew members") who continuously work on board over a long distance for the businesses designated in item (iv) of appended table 1 of the Act, or those workers who are employed for the postal, mail delivery, telegraphic, or telephone businesses a post office having less than 30 indoor workers for the enterprises designated in item (xi) of the same table, an employer may give them no rest periods notwithstanding the provision of Article 34 of the Act.
- この法律において「認知症対応型通所介護」とは、居宅要介護者であって、脳血管疾患、アルツハイマー病その他の要因に基づく脳の器質的な変化により日常生活に支障が生じる程度にまで記憶機能及びその他の認知機能が低下した状態(以下「認知症」という。)であるものについて、老人福祉法第五条の二第三項の厚生労働省令で定める施設又は同法第二十条の二の二に規定する老人デイサービスセンターに通わせ、当該施設において入浴、排せつ、食事等の介護その他の日常生活上の世話であって厚生労働省令で定めるもの及び機能訓練を行うことをいう。
- The term "Outpatient Long-Term Care for a Dementia Patient" as used in this Act means to provide care for bathing, bodily waste elimination, meals, etc., and for other daily activities as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, and functional training for an In-Home Person Requiring Long-Term Care who is in the condition that memory functions and other cognitive functions have become underactive as far as causing disorder with performing daily activities due to organic changes of the brain that are caused by cerebral vascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, or other factors (herein referred to as "Dementia"). This is accomplished by having said person commute to a facility as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare as set forth in Article 5-2, paragraph (3) of the Public Aid for the Aged Act or Long-Term Care Day Service Centers for the elderly as provided in Article 20-2-2 of the same Act.
- この法律において「訪問介護」とは、要介護者であって、居宅(老人福祉法(昭和三十八年法律第百三十三号)第二十条の六に規定する軽費老人ホーム、同法第二十九条第一項に規定する有料老人ホーム(第十一項及び第十九項において「有料老人ホーム」という。)その他の厚生労働省令で定める施設における居室を含む。以下同じ。)において介護を受けるもの(以下「居宅要介護者」という。)について、その者の居宅において介護福祉士その他政令で定める者により行われる入浴、排せつ、食事等の介護その他の日常生活上の世話であって、厚生労働省令で定めるもの(夜間対応型訪問介護に該当するものを除く。)をいう。
- The term "Home-Visit Long-Term Care" as used in this Act means care service that is for bathing, bodily waste elimination, meals, etc., and for other daily activities provided by long-term care public aid workers and other persons who determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (except for care services defined as Home-Visit at Night for Long-Term Care) and which are provided to a Person Requiring Long-Term Care at his or her home (herein referred to as "In-Home Person Requiring Long-Term Care") (including a residence room at a moderate-fee home for the elderly as provided in Article 20-6 of the Public Aid for the Aged Act (Act No. 133 of 1963); a Fee-Based Home for the Elderly as prescribed in Article 29-1 of the same Act (referred to as a "Fee-Based Home for the Elderly" in paragraphs (11) and (19)); and other facilities as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare; the same shall apply hereinafter).

- この法律において「地域密着型特定施設入居者生活介護」とは、有料老人ホームその他第十一項の厚生労働省令で定める施設であって、その入居者が要介護者、その配偶者その他厚生労働省令で定める者に限られるもの(以下「介護専用型特定施設」という。)のうち、その入居定員が二十九人以下であるもの(以下この項において「地域密着型特定施設」という。)に入居している要介護者について、当該地域密着型特定施設が提供するサービスの内容、これを担当する者その他厚生労働省令で定める事項を定めた計画に基づき行われる入浴、排せつ、食事等の介護その他の日常生活上の世話であって厚生労働省令で定めるもの、機能訓練及び療養上の世話をいう。
- The term "Daily Life Long-Term Care for a Person Admitted to a Community-Based Specified Facility" as used in this Act means to provide care for bathing, bodily waste elimination, meals, etc., and for other daily activities as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, functional training and medical care based on a plan that stipulates the content of services to be provided by said Community-Based Specified Facility, the personnel in charge of the services, and other items as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare. This service is provided to a Person Requiring Long-Term Care who is staying in a Fee-Based Home for the Elderly and other facilities as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare as set forth in paragraph (11) of this Article and for which the capacity of the fixed number of said residents is twenty-nine (29) or less (hereinafter referred to as "Community-Based Specified Facility"), among facilities for which residents are limited to a Person Requiring Long-Term Care, said person's spouse, and other personnel as determined by an Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (herein referred to as a "Specialized Long-Term Care Specified Facility").
- 国は、当分の間、都道府県(第八十四条の二第一項の規定により、都道府県が処理することとされている第七十四条第一項の事務を指定都市等が処理する場合にあつては、当該指定都市等を含む。以下この項及び附則第十二項から第十四項までにおいて同じ。)に対し、第七十五条第二項の規定により国がその費用について補助することができる保護施設の修理、改造又は拡張で日本電信電話株式会社の株式の売払収入の活用による社会資本の整備の促進に関する特別措置法(昭和六十二年法律第八十六号)第二条第一項第二号に該当するものにつき、都道府県以外の保護施設の設置者に対し当該都道府県が補助する費用に充てる資金について、予算の範囲内において、第七十五条第二項の規定(この規定による国の補助の割合について、この規定と異なる定めをした法令の規定がある場合には、当該異なる定めをした法令の規定を含む。以下同じ。)により国が補助することができる金額に相当する金額を無利子で貸し付けることができる。
- For the time being, the State may, within the scope of the budget, provide a loan without interest of an amount equivalent to the amount that the State may subsidize pursuant to the provisions of Article 75, paragraph (2) (in the case where any law or ordinance stipulates otherwise with regard to the proportion of subsidy by the State under these provisions, they shall include the provisions of said law or ordinance that stipulates otherwise; the same shall apply hereinafter) to a prefecture (in the case where the affairs under Article 74, paragraph (1), which are to be processed by a prefecture, are to be processed by a designated city, etc., pursuant to the provisions of Article 84-2, paragraph (1), this shall include said designated city, etc.; hereinafter the same shall apply in this paragraph and paragraphs (12) to (14) of the Supplementary Provisions) for the funds to be allocated to the expenses subsidized by said prefecture for the establisher of a public assistance facility other than said prefecture, with regard to a repair, renovation or expansion of a public assistance facility of which expenses may be subsidized by the State pursuant to the provisions of Article 75, paragraph (2) and which falls under Article 2, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development Through Use of Proceeds from Sale of the Stock of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (Act No. 86 of 1987).

Such loans shall be funded to be appropriated to the expenses subsidized by said prefectural government to social welfare corporations established pursuant to the provision of Article 31 paragraph (1) of the Social Welfare Act, the Japanese Red Cross Society or non-profit incorporated associations or non-profit incorporated foundations, if such subsidies from said prefectural government are granted for the expenses spent for such Construction, etc. of institutions for mentally retarded children, etc. that can be subsidized by the national government pursuant to the provision of pursuant to the provision of Article 56-2 paragraph (3) and that falls under Article 2 item (ii) paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Measures concerning Promotion of Development of Infrastructures by Utilization of Revenues from the Sale of Shares of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (Act No. 86 of 1987) (hereinafter referred to as "Act on Special Measures concerning Infrastructure Development").
