- During the Edo period in 1774, a stone burial lid made from two pieces of tuff with 140 cm length, 86 cm wide, and 47 cm thickness, and a cist made from anvil stone were found on the hillside at the back of the Muryoko-ji Temple in Miyashita Village, Inabago, Homi County, Inaba Province (present-day Miyanoshita, Kokufu Town, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture), and there was a cinerary urn buried in the center hole of the stone burial lid.
- しかしながら帝都復興事業が行われた区域は震災の大火災によって灰燼と化した地域に限定されており、そもそも江戸の情緒を残す町並みはほとんど残されていなかったこと、震災前の東京は交通や衛生など現在にも共通する多くの都市問題を抱えていたことなどを考慮すると、「江戸の情緒を喪失させた」という批判は決して的を射ているとは言えないものであろうとする意見もある。
- Still, some would argue against this criticism saying 'eliminating the traditional atmosphere of the Edo period' is irrelevant considering the following points; the areas rebuilt under the Reconstruction Project of the Imperial Capital were limited to those areas which were reduced to ashes by the great fire after the earthquake, so there retained little atmosphere of the Edo culture; and the Tokyo city before the Great Earthquake had full of urban problems similar to today, such as traffic and hygienic problems.
- 石灰石、ドロマイト、耐火粘土、砂鉱等地表に近い部分に存する鉱物に ついて採掘権の設定の出願があり、その鉱物の掘採により土地の利用を妨害すると認めるときは、経済産業局長は、採掘権の設定の出願をした土地の区域(以下 「採掘出願地」という。)に係る土地(国の所有するものを除く。)の所有者に出願があつた旨を通知し、相当の期限を附して意見書を提出する機会を与えなけ ればならない。
- When an application for creation of digging right for a mineral that occurs close to the surface of the Earth such as limestone, dolomite, fireclay, placer and others, and when mining of such mineral is found to interfere with utilization of land, the Director of Regional Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry shall notify the landowner of the land (except for nationally-owned land) involved in the area where an application for creation of digging right is filed (hereinafter referred to as 'digging application area') of such application, and give him/her an opportunity to submit a written opinion within a reasonable period of time.
- この条以下において「鉱物」とは、金鉱、銀鉱、銅鉱、鉛鉱、そう鉛鉱、す ず鉱、アンチモニー鉱、水銀鉱、亜鉛鉱、鉄鉱、硫化鉄鉱、クローム鉄鉱、マンガン鉱、タングステン鉱、モリブデン鉱、ひ鉱、ニツケル鉱、コバルト鉱、ウラ ン鉱、トリウム鉱、りん鉱、黒鉛、石炭、亜炭、石油、アスフアルト、可燃性天然ガス、硫黄、石こう、重晶石、明ばん石、ほたる石、石綿、石灰石、ドロマイ ト、けい石、長石、ろう石、滑石、耐火粘土(ゼーゲルコーン番号三十一以上の耐火度を有するものに限る。以下同じ。)及び砂鉱(砂金、砂鉄、砂すずその他 ちゆう積鉱床をなす金属鉱をいう。以下同じ。)をいう。
- The term 'mineral' as used in the following Articles of this Act shall mean gold ore, silver ore, copper ore, lead ore, bismuth ore, tin ore, antimony ore, mercury ore, zinc ore, iron ore, iron sulfide ore, chrome iron ore, manganese ore, tungsten ore, molybdenum ore, arsenic ore, nickel ore, cobalt ore, uranium ore, thorium ore, phosphate ore, graphite, coal, lignite, oil, asphalt, combustible natural gas, sulfur, gypsum, barites, alunite, fluorine, asbestos, limestone, dolomite, silica, feldspar, agalmatolite, talc, fireclay (limited to those that have fire resistance of Seger cone number 31 or higher; the same shall apply hereinafter), and placer (alluvial gold, iron sand, stream tin and other metallic ores that constitute alluvial deposits; the same shall apply herein after).
