- なお淀屋橋開業後の1964年当時の途中停車駅は四条、七条、伏見稲荷、丹波橋、中書島、八幡町(現八幡市)、枚方市、香里園、京橋、天満橋、北浜(このほか、日中は枚方公園に停車)であり、当時の急行は2008年10月に新たに登場する予定である快速急行とほぼ同じ水準の停車駅数であった(快速急行は先述の駅のほか、樟葉、寝屋川市、守口市に停車し伏見稲荷、八幡市、枚方公園を通過する予定)。
